RxKeeper® Privacy Policy
Last Updated: May 9, 2026
Version 3
1. Overview and Scope
Status Alert LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the RxKeeper® mobile application (the “App”) and the RxKeeper® medication adherence device (the “Device”), together with our cloud server infrastructure, as the “Service.” This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with the Service.
The RxKeeper® Device is an FDA-registered, patented medical device designed to support medication adherence for individual users and caregivers. The Service collects medication adherence data to help users and authorized caregivers track and manage medication schedules. This Privacy Policy applies to the App, the Device, and our server infrastructure, because each may collect different categories of information and may involve different disclosures.
By using the RxKeeper® App or Device, you consent to the data practices described in this Statement. If we later introduce additional cloud synchronization features, caregiver dashboards, physician-facing tools, or AI-based analysis, we will provide a separate notice and may require additional opt-in consent before those features become available.
1.1 Financial Integrity and Consent
Our financial model relies on the integrity of the Service provided to users and Caregivers. Should we introduce future revenue-generating features, such as AI-based analysis or physician-facing tools, we will provide specific notice and obtain any required additional consent before such features involve the processing of your data.
2. Data Architecture
RxKeeper® is designed to transmit medication adherence data from the Device and App to our secure servers to enable reliable tracking, caregiver notifications, and service continuity. We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect data in transit and at rest.
An account is required to use the core functionality of the Service. When you create an account, additional terms and disclosures apply as described in our Terms of Service. Because adherence data is also stored locally on your phone or tablet, that data is additionally subject to your device settings, backups, and security controls.
3. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to operate the Service, support medication adherence tracking, process purchases, provide customer support, maintain security, and improve technical reliability. We do not use medication adherence data for third-party behavioral advertising.
3.1 Information You Provide Directly
This may include your name, email address, billing and shipping information, and details about your support or inquiry. We do not store your full credit card number; payments are handled by third-party payment processors. When you register for an account, you may also provide information about your medication schedules, dosage reminders, and caregiver contacts.
3.2 Medication Adherence Data
Medication adherence data generated by the App or Device may include medication intake events, timestamps, dosage schedules, adherence goals, reminders, and related user settings. This data is transmitted to and stored on our secure servers to enable the core functionality of the Service, including caregiver access where authorized. Device-level backups maintained by Apple or Android services may also retain a copy of this data locally on your device.
3.3 Automatically Collected Technical Data and Log Files
We automatically collect certain information and store it in log files. This information includes IP addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (“ISP”), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, clickstream data, device model, device type, manufacturer, operating system version, device ID, app performance data, and crash logs. We also collect information about how you use the App and interact with its pages and features, along with a time-stamped log of data exchanges. We use this information to analyze trends, administer the Service, track users’ movements within the App, gather demographic information about our user base, and better tailor our Service to our users’ needs.
The App may use Bluetooth and wireless network functionality to communicate with the RxKeeper® Device. This communication occurs only when enabled on your device and may be controlled through your device settings.
3.4 Pixel Tags and Cookies
In addition to essential cookies used for site functionality, we may use pixel tags and analytics cookies. Pixel tags are tiny graphic images with unique identifiers used to understand site engagement and help ensure our communications are relevant to users. We use cookies and similar technologies to understand traffic, improve site performance, and enhance the user experience.
We use essential cookies necessary for the site to function, including session management and account functionality. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors interact with our site. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies, though doing so may affect your ability to use certain features of the Service.
3.5 Analytics Services
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, including which pages are most frequently visited, how long visitors stay, and where traffic originates. Google Analytics collects information such as IP addresses, browser types, device types, and pages visited. This information is aggregated and does not identify individual users.
You can opt out of Google Analytics data collection by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
We also use Google AdWords and Facebook remarketing services to advertise to previous visitors to our site on third-party websites. Third-party vendors, including Google and Facebook, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website. Any data collected through these services will be used in accordance with our own privacy policy, Google’s privacy policy, and Facebook’s privacy policy.
3.6 Do Not Track Signals
We do not currently respond to browser ‘Do Not Track’ signals. However, you may opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the opt-out tool described in Section 3.5, and you may manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how to remove them. If you have a privacy request or concern, you may also contact us directly at info@RxKeeper.com.
4. Push Notifications
If you enable push notifications, the App may use Apple Push Notification service (“APNs”) or equivalent Android notification services to send medication reminders, alerts, and service-related messages to your device. To deliver notifications, we may transmit device token information and notification content to Apple or Google. These providers may temporarily store notification content for delivery when a device is offline. You can disable push notifications through your device or App settings.
5. How We Use Information
We use administrative and technical information to operate and improve the Service, process orders, provide customer support, communicate with you, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. Specifically, we use information to:
-
Operate and maintain the medication adherence tracking features of the Service;
-
Process account registrations, orders, and payments;
-
Provide and respond to customer support requests;
-
Send service-related notices, medication reminders, and updates you have requested;
-
Analyze App usage, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve product performance;
-
Maintain security and prevent fraud or unauthorized access;
-
Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information or medication adherence data to third parties under any circumstances.
If you provide your email address in connection with a purchase or inquiry, we may send you order confirmations, shipping updates, and service-related communications necessary to fulfill your order. We may also send you promotional communications about RxKeeper® products and updates, but only if you have opted in to receive them. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by replying STOP, clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any promotional email, or by contacting us at info@RxKeeper.com. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and will not send unsolicited commercial email.
5.1 Non-Monetization of Data.
Status Alert LLC is a service-based company that generates revenue through the sale of the Device and recurring subscription fees for Paid Services. We do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise monetize your personal information or medication adherence data for third-party commercial, marketing, or advertising purposes.
6. How We Share Information
Status Alert LLC does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists or medication adherence data to third parties. We share information only with the following categories of service providers that help us operate the Service, process payments, and fulfill orders:
Payment processing: We use third-party payment processors to handle payment card transactions. These processors receive your billing information necessary to process your payment. We do not store your full credit card number.
Server and hosting infrastructure: We store medication adherence data and account data on servers provided by third-party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted under confidentiality and data security agreements.
Shipping and fulfillment: We share your name, shipping address, and order details with shipping carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS as necessary to deliver your order.
Analytics and advertising: We may share aggregated, non-personally identifiable information with third-party analytics and advertising partners, including Google and Facebook, as described in Section 3.5.
Customer support: We may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, or provide customer support. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Status Alert LLC, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
Status Alert LLC may disclose your personal information without notice if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, regulatory request, or similar lawful process, or if needed to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Status Alert LLC; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Status Alert LLC; or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Status Alert LLC or the public.
We may share some or all of your personal information in connection with or during the negotiation of any merger, financing, acquisition, dissolution, transaction, or proceeding involving the sale, transfer, divestiture, or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets. In the event of insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, personal information may also be transferred as a business asset.
6.2 Purpose of Sharing.
Any data shared with third-party service providers (such as payment processors, hosting vendors, and shipping carriers) is shared strictly for the purpose of fulfilling your requested products or services. These providers are contractually obligated to maintain data confidentiality and are prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing support to the RxKeeper® Service.
7. Medical Device Disclaimer
The RxKeeper® Device is an FDA-registered, patented medical device designed to support medication adherence. The Service is intended to help users and caregivers track medication schedules and is not intended to replace the advice, diagnosis, or treatment provided by a licensed healthcare professional.
Users should not rely on RxKeeper® as the sole source of medication management or safety-related decision-making. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability of adherence data, reminders, or Device measurements. If you have a medical condition, prescribed medication regimen, or specific clinical needs, you must rely on the guidance of your healthcare provider.
Status Alert LLC is not a healthcare provider, health plan, or HIPAA-covered entity in its provision of the Service to individual consumers. If you use the Service in a clinical or institutional context, contact us at info@RxKeeper.com for information about applicable terms and notices.
Additional limitations, disclaimers, and warranty terms may be described in the Terms of Service.
8. Security of Your Personal Information
Status Alert LLC uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information and medication adherence data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites or servers, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol.
Because medication adherence data may also be stored on your device, its security depends in part on your own device protections. We recommend using a passcode, biometrics, and keeping your operating system up to date.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) the security, integrity, and privacy of information exchanged between you and us cannot be guaranteed. If you believe your account or information has been compromised, contact us immediately at info@RxKeeper.com.
9. Caregiver Access
RxKeeper® supports caregiver access to help authorized individuals monitor and support a user’s medication adherence. If you authorize a caregiver to link to your account, we will share your medication adherence data and relevant account information with that caregiver through the Service.
You may revoke caregiver access at any time through your account settings. If you revoke access, we will no longer share your information with that caregiver going forward. However, we do not have control over any information the caregiver may have viewed or retained prior to revocation.
Caregivers are permitted to access your account information solely to support your medication adherence and may not use that information for any other purpose. If you believe your caregiver access has been misused, contact us immediately at info@RxKeeper.com.

We may use aggregated or de-identified data derived from your information after you update or delete it, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.
You can always opt not to disclose certain information to us, but keep in mind that some information may be required to register with us or to take advantage of certain features of the Service.
Under California Civil Code Sections 1798.83–1798.84, California residents are entitled to contact us to prevent disclosure of personal information to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. To submit such a request, contact us at info@RxKeeper.com.

The Service is currently offered only to residents of the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Status Alert LLC does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use the RxKeeper® App. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under thirteen, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Parents or guardians should not provide information on behalf of a child unless they are authorized to do so under applicable law.
14. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain administrative and medication adherence data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We may also retain limited technical logs for security, troubleshooting, and service improvement.
If medication adherence data is also stored on your device, you can remove it by deleting it within the App or uninstalling the App, subject to any backups or device-level storage that may remain under your control. To request deletion of data stored on our servers, contact us at info@RxKeeper.com.
15. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy and any disputes arising under it are governed by the laws of the state in which Status Alert LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. Changes to This Policy
Status Alert LLC reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date, post the revised policy on the site, and may also notify users in the App if the change is significant. We will notify you about significant changes in how we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account and/or placing a prominent notice on our site.
Your continued use of the site and/or Services available through this site after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy. If a change affects how we handle medication adherence data or future cloud features, we will provide additional notice and, where required, obtain renewed consent or opt-in.
